You have been stressing and worrying about a particular situation for weeks now, your back and neck starts to hurt, you grow more tired by the hour, your energy level is low, and you don’t even feel like doing anything. It may be a great time in your life for a fresh start. The best thing about a fresh start is that you don’t have to wait until a new month arrives, just start now! Nothing has to be perfect to start fresh and new. That’s the beauty about it. You can decide when YOU should start over and not others tell you when. Whenever you decide that hey today I’m going to start fresh, then keep these things in mind. They will be your guide when starting over in your new journey of a fresh start.
- Old situations- Leave old and unresolved situations behind. You can no longer associate yourself with them and focus on them. A fresh start also means a new slate.
- Get rid of old habits- If you always were the one to down yourself or do a lot of negative self-talk, it’s time to put an end to that! I’ve learned that negative self-talk won’t make things better. I was a pro at that and it just made me depressed and frustrated a lot.
- Positive vibes only: Let’s welcome in all the positive vibes we can for a fresh new start. The more positive we are, the better things will be
- Repeated negative cycles- Break the cycles and create new healthy ones that aren’t negative.
So whenever you decide on a fresh new start, consider all those things. It may take awhile to get into the swing of things, but it is all worth it at the end. I am wanting a fresh new start myself. With all the bad news in the world, distractions and negativity, I just want to dip myself in some oil and cleanse myself whole again. We aren’t perfect, we make mistakes and get stuck in some of the same old habits that keeps getting us in trouble or puts us in a place where we can’t function sometimes. Just do it and let the rest come to past.
